PAYMENT CONDITIONS AND POLICIES Peru Unlimited welcomes you and wishes you a good trip and enjoyable vacation. Please read the following terms and conditions of your contract with Peru Unlimited. BOOKING AND PAYMENTS 1.In order to guarantee the overall quality of service: guide services, accommodation, transport and other related service; our policy is to pre-pay contracted services prior to the arrival of passengers. 2.Our prices do not include the international air fares to Peru, international airport taxes, meals not specified in your itinerary, personal expenses, tips and baggage transfer. 3.Our travel quotes will be valid for 60 days from the date of your first request, after this time the prices could vary, hence a new quote will be required. 4.The group bookings must be made no later than 60 days before departure, and should be confirmed as shown below: a.Groups: •A non-refundable payment of US $ 200 per person is required at the time of booking. •50% of payment is due 60 days before departure. •Balance of payment is due 30 days before departure. b. Independent Travellers: •A non-refundable payment of US $ 200 per person is required at the time of booking. •Balance of payment is due 15 days before departure. 5.Payment will be wired to Peru Unlimited's bank account in Peru. Please contact us for further information. 6.Peru Unlimited reserves the right to increase the travel and tour costs regarding the following issues: government actions, fluctuations in currency, transportation costs (including fuel cost), airport charges and increases in scheduled airline tickets. Peru Unlimited will absorb an amount equal to 2% of the trip’s cost if a surcharge is necessary. If the surcharge leads to an increase of over 10% of the cost of the trip, from state taxes and charges of the adjustment, the customer may cancel the reservation within 7 days of notification of surcharge and get a full refund. Our customers will be notified of any such surcharge no later than 30 days before departure. 7.All services are pre-paid and payments must be made prior to the passenger's travel to their destination. CANCELLATIONS 8.Every passenger is subject to the cancellation payment, which will be charged according to the number of days prior to the arrival of the passengers. On the notice of cancellation, the following policies will be implemented: a.Groups: a.1)From 60 days or more before departure: retention of deposit. a.2)From 31-59 days before departure, 60% of the total is non-refundable. a.3)From 15-30 days before departure, 100% of the total is non-refundable. b.Independent travellers: b.1)From 0-15 days before departure, 100% of the total is non-refundable. REFUNDS 9.As we offer an all-inclusive package tour, the traveller will not receive any reimbursement for unused services or when cancellations occur due to unforeseen circumstances. INSURANCE AND MEDICAL ISSUES 10.We strongly suggest you to get an all-risk travel insurance, which includes cover under certain circumstances, against the loss of deposit or cancellation charges. It is advisable for your security. We do not provide or include accident or travel insurance policy in our cost. An all-risk insurance or similar will cover you in case of an accident or health problem. We will fully provide you assistance and advise, in case you need to use your travel insurance while visiting Peru. Our company will not assume any responsibility or compensation for any injury, damage, loss or accident. 11.Peru Unlimited won’t be responsible about the passengers’ medical recommendations or prescription. If you or your clients have a health problem, we recommend you must ask a medical report it could be fill for the passengers’ doctor or the medical insurance. If you are affected by a condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect other peoples' enjoyment or active participation of the tour, you must advise us at the time of booking. No refund will be given for any unused services. RESPONSABILITIES: 12.Peru Unlimited will not assume any responsibility or compensation if forced to cancel or change your tour because of any social-politic disturbance, terrorist activity, technical or maintenance problems with transport, closed or congested airports or ports, changes imposed by re-scheduling or cancellation of flights by airlines, the alteration of airlines or aircraft types, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health risks, or similar events beyond the control of our company. Reasonable changes in the itinerary could be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of passengers. 13.All clients’ bookings are accepted on the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent to adventure travel and that they undertake in all activities featured in our programmes, at their own volition. It is also important that our clients know and understand the travel conditions around an under-developed country like Peru that has a basic infrastructure. They may be occasions when delays, discomforts or unforeseen circumstances will occur. Peru Unlimited cannot accept complaints due to these aspects. 14.If you have a complaint please make so in writing addressed to the Agency; attach a letter with the respective claims to investigate what happened and take some action if needed.
